CCTV shows the Gettts driving on the wrong side of the road, then killing a student in a hit-and-run while speeding and being over the drink-driving limit.
The award-winning rapper, whose real name is Justin Clarke-Samuel, failed to stop after his BMW crashed into 20-year-old Nepali national Yubin Tamang in north-east London.
The 41-year-old dirt artist admitted causing death by dangerous driving and dangerous driving. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison and disqualified from driving for 17 years.
Judge Mark Lucraft KC said the footage showed the “pretty horrific sequence of events” leading up to the fatal collision and that it was “simply shocking”.
The footage showed Clarke-Samuel driving fast and failing to stop at several red traffic lights, the court heard.
He repeatedly crossed onto the wrong side of the road, mounted the pavement and collided with a motorcyclist and a Mercedes.
