‘Giant of a man’ US Fed ex-chair Greenspan dies at 100

The US Federal Reserve stated that it was “deeply saddened” by the death of former Fed chairman Alan Greenspan at the age of 100.

His wife of 29 years, NBC news correspondent Andrea Mitchell, said in a statement that he died due to complications of Parkinson’s disease.
