A 13-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by members of a drug cartel who mistakenly believed she was the girlfriend of a rival drug trafficker. The young man’s terrible ordeal ended with a phone call. The attackers realized their mistake and released him.
The young girl, who again faced threats and “had a bullet shot in her head”, was attacked in São João de Meriti, located in the Baixada Fluminense region of the Brazilian state of South America. After the horrific incident in Vilar dos Teles, Predinhos, the girl was released after her attackers discovered her true identity. But he claims they threatened to kill his family if he reported the attack to the authorities.
Yesterday (February 11), Rio Civil Police launched an operation to capture those involved. Investigations show that the girl was brought before a so-called “drug trafficking court” or “drug trafficking court.”
It was here that the criminals allegedly decided on his brutal punishment. According to G1, seven people participated in the crime, including a teenager and a woman who subdued the girl.
The police wanted to issue five arrest warrants and a search and seizure warrant against the young suspect.
The adults were identified as Samir Luan Evangelista dos Santos, Matheus Eduardo da Silva Fernandes, Kalyne Aparecida Nascimento Teixeira, Fábio Rayan Santos de Jesus, and Wellington de Medeiros da Silva, who is currently in custody.
Further details revealed that one of the seven men was killed by criminals, while another person was arrested after being attacked. It was noted that the arrested man, who had a criminal record for rape and drug trafficking, was identified at the hospital.
Officers from the São João de Meriti Women’s Police Station (DEAM) announced that the victim lived near the community of Trio do Ouro, which is reportedly controlled by the criminal organization Terceiro Comando Puro, or “Third Pure Command.”
She was said to be in the area because she had relatives living there, but she was mistakenly targeted because she was believed to be the girlfriend of a Comando Vermelho, or “Red Command” member.
The victim, who told the police about the incident, claimed that while he was with a friend in the square, a group of men approached him and forced him to get into the car.
While it was reported that the victim, whose condition was stable, went to the hospital for treatment and remained there, he was recently transferred to a health unit in a separate municipality to be examined by the neurosurgery team.
The military police emphasized that the police force in the region has been strengthened and that “such cases are approached with absolute care, sensitivity and respect for the victim.”
According to O Globo, plainclothes police noted that DEAM teams immediately launched an investigation as soon as they learned of the crime.
