The 33-year-old said he felt like he had been “thrown under the bus” by the Reds amid the team’s struggles this season and that his relationship with head coach Arne Slot had deteriorated.

Salah was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United, the third consecutive game in which the Egyptian forward started on the bench.

Monday’s training took place ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League match against Inter Milan on Tuesday, and Salah took part in the session open to the media.
