The X-rays showed that Maxwell had put a break from the coup and forced him to make an early turn he would consult with experts.

Josh Philippe, who recently played for Australia in his series in India, was called to replace Maxwell in the squad.

Maxwell, who retired from ODI matches earlier this year, would play in the T20 series against India in October and November, and at the same time there would be a basis for the Melbourne Stars Big Bash League.
