Google Employee Charged With Using Insider Info on Polymarket

A Google software engineer is accused of using confidential company information to make more than $1 million on prediction market platform Polymarket. Michele Spagnuolo is charged with commodity fraud, wire fraud and money laundering after prosecutors accused him of placing a series of bets on what users searched for on Google.
