Google to invest $15 bn in Vizag AI City; PM Modi says it aligns with ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision – The Economic Times Video
In a historic announcement made at Google’s ‘Bharat AI Shakti’ event in Delhi, Google announced plans to build India’s largest AI Data Center Campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project, worth 15 billion dollars, will include a gigawatt-scale data center, artificial intelligence infrastructure and green energy systems. It will be built by Adani Group. While Google CEO Sundar Pichai said the initiative will accelerate India’s digital growth, Prime Minister Modi lauded it as a major step towards the vision of “AI for All” and Viksit Bharat.
