Located in the heart of Paddington, Sydney’s newest accommodation venue, 25hours The Olympia is offered for sale with a price tag of approximately $125 million.

Located at 1 Oxford Street, the brand new 109-room luxury lifestyle property is the result of the seven-year transformation of the iconic West Olympia Theater into the country’s first 25-hour Hotel.

It was developed by Central Element and supported by Boston Global and is always available for sale upon completion. Central Element was founded in 2010 and has a portfolio valued at $3 billion, including more than 500 apartments delivered across metropolitan Sydney.

It’s being sold through Sam McVay of McVay real estate.

Crowne Plaza Parramatta

IHG Hotels & Resorts has been awarded the operating contract for the 217-room Crowne Plaza Parramatta, at the center of the $750 million two-tower project opposite Parramatta train station. In addition to a direct connection from the hotel to the station, there will also be an all-day restaurant, a lobby bar and a rooftop infinity pool.

The new Powerhouse is being developed by Urban Property Group, which has earmarked the city of Parramatta for large-scale growth supported by Parramatta Museum and the expanded Riverside Theaters precinct.

Hotel accommodation and new hospitality venues are also in high demand with the opening of Western Sydney International Airport at Badgerys Creek.

It comes as IHG prepares to open its new Intercontinental hotel in Coogee in the eastern suburbs.

The 198-room resort will open in two phases, with guest accommodations and dining opening in December, followed by an entertainment deck with pickleball courts, an ocean-facing infinity pool, spa and Club InterContinental in March 2026.

Parramatta suite

A strata office suite is being introduced at 126 Church Street to accommodate growth in Parramatta. This is the first strata proposal to emerge in the region in at least five years.

The 12-storey commercial building is located directly opposite Parramatta Train Station and Bus Interchange, offering full floor suites ranging from 45sq m to 740sq m and secure basement parking.

Colliers representatives Harry Bui, John McCann, Andrew Bui and Swami Vishwanathan are advising on the sale.

Recently, property developer Holdmark named Coles as the anchor tenant of Burwood Place, a $2.5 billion urban regeneration project in Sydney’s inner west.

Burwood Place, which will offer more than 1,000 new homes, has been designed as a “five-minute neighbourhood” combining residential towers, commercial buildings, open spaces, entertainment precincts, arts and culture housing and public squares.

A 4,000 square meter Coles supermarket will be located on the lower ground floor, supported by a mix of retail, food and services alongside Burwood railway station.
