Six women steal cash and gold valuables from apartment complex in Bengaluru, case registered

A group of six women allegedly escaped from an apartment complex in Yeshwanthpur with cash and gold jewelery on Saturday.

The incident took place in Altın Apartment. According to police, the women arrived at the apartment posing as salesmen selling artificial jewelry. The security guard initially denied them access. However, while four of the women engaged the guard in conversation and distracted him, the other two women allegedly entered unnoticed.

The duo reportedly entered a house located near the security room on the ground floor and took away around ₹40,000 in cash and gold jewellery. After the theft, the suspect quickly fled the scene. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the apartment complex.

Police launched an investigation into the incident and began searching for the suspect based on security camera footage. Authorities called on citizens and security personnel to be wary of unknown visitors.
