Gordon Ramsay gushes over how ‘proud’ he is of daughter Holly in heartwarming tribute as he prepares to officially welcome Adam Peaty to the family ahead of the couple’s wedding

Gordon Ramsay has shared a heartwarming tribute to his daughter Holly, who is set to marry fiancé Adam Peaty on Saturday.
The TV chef shared a sweet snap of himself and Holly as he described how ‘proud’ he was and how much he was looking forward to officially welcoming the athlete into the family.
She wrote: ‘I am truly so lucky to be able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gain an incredible groom @adam_peaty!
‘I love you so much @hollyramsayy and I couldn’t be a prouder dad xxx’.
Meanwhile, Adam looked like he was counting the hours until he could marry his bride-to-be.
The couple are getting married at Bath Abbey on December 27, but the lead-up to the wedding was filled with drama amid a bitter family row that resulted in Adam’s parents not being invited to the ceremony.
But that turmoil seemed far from Adam’s mind on Saturday morning, when he shared a photo of the countryside sunrise nice and early on Instagram ahead of the ceremony.

The couple are getting married at Bath Abbey on December 27, but the lead-up to the wedding was filled with drama amid a bitter family row that resulted in Adam’s parents not being invited to the ceremony.
The Olympic swimmer, who took the photo of the pool, is understood to be planning a quick dip to calm his nerves before the big day.
Earlier this week, Adam’s mother Caroline reportedly made a major U-turn surrounding the wedding due to family feuding.
She was planning to crash the wedding, but apparently changed her mind because she didn’t want to ruin Adam’s big day.
A family member told Sun: ‘He won’t be there because that would be too sad and he doesn’t want to ruin her big day.’
Caroline was disqualified from military service following an increasingly toxic and disturbing public row that began in November when she was not invited to her soon-to-be bride’s bachelorette party.
In the wake of this snub public troubles arose, with shocking allegations on both sides; This includes claims that Holly and Adam made Caroline choose a different outfit for the wedding because they didn’t like her choice.
It has since been reported that tensions between the two families began during Holly and Adam’s engagement party, which was filmed for Gordon’s upcoming Netflix documentary.
Gordon was filmed over nine months opening five new restaurants in London, while juggling his personal life.
The turmoil of a breakup with his family seemed far from Adam’s mind, as he shared a photo of the countryside sunrise nice and early on Instagram before the ceremony.
Meanwhile, flowers were seen being placed outside Bath Abbey ahead of today’s celebrations.

They will be married at Bath Abbey on December 27, and the historic venue is reportedly closed to the public throughout that day.
The engagement party, which took place last December, will see Holly and Adam in happier times with his family, before their toxic effects took hold and Adam invited all but one of his relatives from the wedding.
However, according to The Sun, cracks were starting to show at that time as Caroline had many complaints about the party.
A source told the publication: ‘Adam’s family were at his engagement party at a time when relations were much better. Things went downhill from there.
‘His mother was unhappy that some family members were not there and did not confront Gordon at the event.
‘Guests were made to sign confidentiality agreements and hand over their phones while the party was being filmed.’
It was also revealed that Peaty’s sister, Bethany, was the only member of the family to survive the bitter crisis ahead of the wedding.
There was a huge backlash from the Peaty family after Adam’s aunt Louise berated her niece and fiancée Holly in a series of Instagram comments.
He later claimed that his sister Caroline was not invited to their wedding because of her appearance and not having the right “look”.
But one member of Peaty’s family appears to have survived the row – Holly’s sister Bethany, who made the cut for the excellent Cotswolds chicken.
It has been reported that the real reason Bethany took this cut was because she was ‘blonde and beautiful’ so she would ‘fit in’ to the Ramsays’ glamorous world.
There are claims that Bethany was turned off by the celebrity lifestyle and was asked to be one of Holly’s bridesmaids.
A friend close to the family told the publication: ‘Bethany was always very close to Adam and was really impressed by the celebrity lifestyle, her head turned away by all the glitz and glamor.
‘He was so happy to be at his hen party, hanging out with Victoria Beckham, and couldn’t wait to tell all his friends about it. It really suits the world of glamor; blond and very beautiful.’
Earlier this week, Adam shared a photo of himself and Holly holding hands and wished his followers a ‘Merry Christmas’
Earlier this week it was claimed Adam and Holly sparked outrage after banning members of the public from entering a historic church on their wedding day.
According to a new report, The ceremony will only last 90 minutes, but the couple has allegedly booked the convent to prevent further weddings from taking place.
Security has been deployed around the site to prevent onlookers from taking photographs, while tourists are expected to be denied entry.
While the cost of renting the abbey for a wedding usually costs around £2,500, it’s thought the couple will pay several thousand more to secure exclusive use of the venue.
And a picture of a notice posted in the monastery states that the monastery is ‘closed all day for weddings’ on 27 December.
The decision was not well received by the local population; one local told the publication: ‘It seems pretty selfish to rent out the monastery for the whole day when your wedding ceremony is only going to take about an hour and a half.’
The Daily Mail has contacted Adam and Holly’s representatives for comment.
