Family of alleged domestic violence murder victim and young mum Jana Armstrong holds heartbreaking memorial

Local state MP and Treasurer David Jantzki said too many women were suffering as a result of domestic violence and named two other alleged victims in Toowoomba in the last 18 months.
“Every 11 days in our country, a woman is killed by someone she trusted,” Janetzki said.
“These are the women we went to school with, the women we work with, the women we play sports with, the women we share our daily lives with.”
Police arrested Armstrong’s former partner, 48-year-old Dharminder Singh, hours after the incident. his body was discovered and he was charged with a domestic violence homicide.
Denied bail, will return to Türkiye court On September 14.
