Gov. Sherrill deploys state police to Newark ICE facility after clashes

After a week of violent clashes outside the Delany Hall Immigration, Customs and Enforcement detention center in Newark, New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill finally realized he had some semblance of common sense and deployed state police to guard the area.

The scenes outside the facility were disgustingly disgusting; Standing shoulder to shoulder with Democratic elected officials, Antifa agitators were shouting at law enforcement, “Every Cop, Every Fed, Shoot Yourself in the Head.”

One of these leftist lunatics bit an officer on the arm, drawing blood and requiring stitches. Imagine the madness of being so caught up in politics and biting people like a toddler.

Meanwhile, plenty of racism was also on display, with at least two incidents in the video of progressive White women berating Black men (some cops, some just local workers) as “race traitors” with the “wrong skin color.”

Anti-Black racism on the far left reached extreme levels not only in New Jersey but also in Virginia last year, when a supporter of Gov. Abigail Spanberger held a sign telling her opponent, Black Winsome Earle-Sears, to use a separate water fountain.

These are the people with whom Sen. Andy Kim, D-N.J., literally marched under an Antifa flag when he was pepper-sprayed during a run-in with ICE this week. But when Rep. Dan Goldman, DY, made an appointment like a normal person, he was let in without incident.

These crooks, like Rep. Rob Menendez, whose father was a famous bullion collector and a former Garden State senator who is currently in prison on bribery charges, show up lying about conditions at the detention center, much to the relief of these violent anarchist thugs.

These Democrats spread ridiculous rumors that lousy food was being served to those detained in Newark, but when Fox News obtained the facility’s monthly menu, it looked like offerings one might find on a mid-priced cruise ship.

These so-called protests are not about conditions at Delaney Hall. They are about to create a scene, preferably a violent one, to perpetuate the slanderous lie that ICE is President Donald Trump’s personal Gestapo.

In one of the greatest moments of psychological reflection of all time, Sherrill had the courage to claim that it was ICE that wanted to incite violence.

“I will not give ICE any excuse to expand its operations in our state,” Sherrill said. “That’s why New Jersey law enforcement is establishing a peaceful, protected protest zone in the area outside Delaney Hall today.

According to the governor of New Jersey, if I have that right, ICE agents are actually request Will Antifa crazies bite them, approach them, and stop them from doing their job so they have an excuse to commit violence?

Of course, Sherrill does not have the slightest evidence to support this ridiculous claim because it is a ridiculous lie. It doesn’t make any sense.

DAVID MARCUS: ICE PROTESTERS RISKED NOT ONLY THEIR OWN LIVES

Overnight from Friday to Saturday, New Jersey State Police broke up what had become a massive agitator camp, complete with huge tents for wedding ceremonies, a medical tent and thousands of dollars in supplies. But make no mistake, Antifa will be back.

Hopefully Sherrill and other Democrats will do their best to rein in Antifa’s dangerous antics. If Governor Tim Walz had the courage to deploy state police in Minnesota, Renee Good and Alex Pretti would probably be alive today.

As summer arrives, the scenes at Delaney Hall and across the country could go one of two ways: Either Democrats take up this issue and punish violence and lawbreaking, or we get another “summer of love” like 2020, filled with death and destruction.

It would really help if a prominent Democratic figure like former President Barack Obama or New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani told their deranged followers to stop telling cops to blow their brains out or threatening to kill their families.

But Democrats probably won’t calm things down. Rather than give up the illusion that Trump is a fascist and that we are in a major national crisis, they choose to risk the lives of their own supporters and law enforcement.

This weekend will go a long way towards telling the story. Can Sherill and the New Jersey Democrats stick to their guns and quell the maddening mob, or will they give in to the Antifa frenzy as so many have done before?

In both cases, the Democrats own these anarchist agitators and their violence. The only question is whether they actually promote chaos.
