Government Informs Telangana HC About Filling 118 Prosecutor Posts Shortly

Haydarabad: The State Government reported that on Tuesday, the Supreme Court will give a notification within two weeks to filling the mission of 118 assistant prosecutors in the regional courts. By recording this presentation, the Supreme Court postponed the hearing to 2 September.
The court also directed the government’s lawyer to present the notification details before the next hearing. In June, the financial department approved to fill the duties under the Prosecutor’s Office and will be carried out by the State Level Police Recruitment Board with recruitment. There are 262 empty application posts.
Emphasizing the delay in giving recruitment notification, Ramanthapur Boddupalli Srinivasulu filed a public interest case in front of the Supreme Court. A bench of the Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice Gm Mohiuddin heard the issue on Tuesday.
Lawyer G. Jitender Redy, who appeared for the petition owner, argued that he had passed about two months since his financial permit was issued, but no notification was made. He said that the lack of appointments has slowed down the trial proceedings in the lower courts and that many defenders are waiting for the recruitment process. D. Surendra Kumar, who begged the government representing the state, was confident that the notification would be given to the court within two weeks.
