Govinda breaks his silence on accusations of being late on film sets: ‘I’ve been defamed for…’

Govinda was ‘vilified’ for his timeliness on film sets. Recently, the actor expressed his resentment by revealing how difficult it has become to arrive on time for shoots after working five shifts in the industry. During a conversation on Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, Govinda addressed the rumors about negative publicity.
Govinda defends being late for sets
“Mai slander huwa hu ki mai time pe nahi aata hu. Maine kaha ‘kiske baap ke andar taaqat hai ki woh 5 shift square aur time pe aaye. Possible hello nahi hai, ho hi nahi sakta. Host Twinkle Khanna recalled: “When I was working with him, he was shooting 14 films simultaneously. Sometimes he would come in a different costume from another film.”
