Greens claim guinea pig killings show WA prison system is broken

Wa greens held a press conference that called on the state government to change the legislation of the state government because of concerns that the right to protest may be affected.

GREENS MLC Sophie McNeill said that the legislation will “mean that you can go to Instagram now go to Instagram for three years, because I regularly share illegal actions”.

Sophie mcneill.

“If you say that you don’t want to protest the encounter with these laws, you should change this legislation and do it urgently, because you have parliament members who can be sentenced to three years in prison for peaceful, non -violent protests, and this is absolutely ugly,” he said.

According to the state government, the legislation will target materials that can humiliate, intimidate or victims a person, increase the reputation of the criminal or the fame of the criminal or encourage imitator behavior.

Prime Minister Roger Cook said he didn’t believe that the laws would include protesters.

“The task of boasting the laws is to stop glorifying illegal behaviors such as honing like children playing cars. This is the focus point,” he said.

“Protest, show or freedom of speech – these are definitely not focus.”

Parliament is expected to be discussed when it comes back tomorrow. The greens will need the support of the opposition to make any changes.
