On Thursday morning, the company is offering a free breakfast for Scottish fans as they either celebrate making it to the knockout stage or reflect on what might happen after group stage exit. Proud Scot and Greggs CEO Roisin Currie said: “The Tartan Army has been waiting for this moment for a generation and the legendary celebrations, stretching from Boston to Miami, have the world talking.
“To reward Scotland’s incredible fan passion, Greggs wanted to step in and help provide the best post-match fuel. Wear your best match day clothes, get to Greggs early, breakfast is on us.”
Scottish fans who want to receive a free post-match breakfast simply head to any Greggs store in Scotland wearing their Scottish football fan clothing.
Whether Scottish fans are donning an iconic vintage shirt or top, their luckiest matchday attire, or wearing full Tartan Army colours, fans are encouraged to wear their passion on their sleeves to claim their reward – flags, kilts and big pipes are welcome.
Only available until 11am, fans will have an early jump into their morning routine and opt for a single hearty breakfast roll filled with sizzling bacon, sausage, Lorne sausage or a fluffy omelette – completely free of charge.
However, the fans will need to be quick on the counter-attack; The offer is limited to the first 35 customers per store.
