Gujarat HC issues SOP after toilet use incident during virtual court

Failure to comply with Sop said he would disrespect the court proceedings. SOP asked the participants at the virtual or hybrid hearings to “offer themselves from a good environment that would not affect the dignity and decor of the court.” Participants in live cases via mobile phones were asked to wander/circulate/circulate with the instrument/device during the virtual hearing.
He stressed that the court transactions carried out in virtual and hybrid mode are judicial procedures for all purposes and that all protocols apply to physical courts are valid for them. Sop also called for professional dressing for defenders who appear in virtual modes, except for the plaintiffs, and said that the defenders may face the withdrawal of rights by the court without professional clothes.
Sop also asked the participants in the virtual mode to “present themselves in accordance with the court’s glory and decor” and continue their discipline. Participants will now have to attend a virtual or hybrid hearing, now they will have to enter a virtual waiting room first and will be admitted to the hearing by the court master after verifying the screen names according to the list.
