Hailing youth, Uddhav Thackeray says this is just start

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday said youths have written a “golden chapter” by forcing Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan to resign and the “spark” created by students will oppose the BJP.

The former chief minister of Maharashtra said the fight is not over yet and hinted that the next excitement could be over ethanol blended oil.

“This is just the start of the struggle,” he said, speaking at the end of a joint march held with cousin Raj Thackeray of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. “Now the BJP is against Bharat and in this struggle, we all have to forget our caste, our community, our religion and come together. Everyone has come together as nationalists against this government. A cockroach toppled an autocrat,” he said.
The Thackeray cousins had called for a protest march to demand Pradhan’s resignation, but said they would take out a “victory march” at Shivaji Park in Dadar following the resignation of the union education minister on Saturday. They said that this would be a political march and other party leaders could come and participate. NCP (SP) leader Rohit Pawar joined the march in support.

Uddhav Thackeray attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ministers. “I want to tell Modi ji to at least focus on the country now. Your ministers are quitting their jobs and corrupting their parties. Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman does not talk about the fall in rupee or inflation but gives examples of how useful paper leaks are. Defense minister Rajnath Singh is not talking about defence, he is defending Dharmendra Pradhan…” he said.
