Half of Brits believe bakeries could be OLD OUT within the next decade; many are using air fryers more now.

A striking 45 per cent of Brits believe bakeries will enter the history books within the next 10 years; Three-quarters (74%) admit to using an air fryer more than a stove.

Britain’s obsession with trendy gadgets appears to have reached its peak; 64% of Brits admit they couldn’t live without these devices.

Half (50%) say they use the oven less than three times a week, while 9% admit they no longer use the stove.

More than two fifths (41%) of air fryer-obsessed Brits admit they could continue cooking at home with the trendy gadget in their kitchen.

Half of foodies (52%) said there was “nothing” they wouldn’t use an air fryer for, including preparing hard boiled eggs (13%), cake (9%) and even a cup of tea (4%).

Three-quarters (76%) of people believe some foods taste better when cooked in an air fryer; Chips (69%), sausages (56%) and French fries (49%) are at the top.

When it comes to why Brits choose a deep fryer, more than half (53%) say speed is the most important factor, while 61% admit convenience is the biggest factor.

Nearly half (49%) say air fryers cost less on energy, while 40% see it as a healthier option for cooking.

The love for tools goes beyond the home; 65% admit they would eat at a restaurant that prepares their food in a deep fryer.

To celebrate the love affair between Brits and air fryers, Aldi has introduced a limited-edition Air Fryer plush, a nod to its popularity in the supermarket’s famous center aisle.

Aldi’s Air Fryer Plushie turns the countertop hero into a cozy sleeping companion with display details, a mini basket handle and soft sides.

Aldi UK Commercial Director Julie Ashfield said: “A kitchen wouldn’t be complete without an air fryer.

“Our research shows the air fryer is more than just a gadget – it’s an essential product that deserves to be celebrated in British homes.

“That’s why we created these fun, limited-edition plushies, so Air Fryer-obsessed shoppers will never be without their favorite kitchen companion.”

This comes as Aldi’s popular Combi Zone Air Fryer hits stores on April 12.
