Other senior figures confirmed dead included Raed Saad, a senior commander of the Al Qassam Brigades. Israeli times reported.
Israel announced on December 13 that Saad was killed in a targeted attack after tracking his movements in the tunnel network in Gaza for months.
Israeli security officials identified Saad as one of the chief planners of the attack on October 7, 2023, in which approximately 1,200 people died and more than 250 people were taken hostage.
Hamas also acknowledged the deaths of Mohammed Shabanah, head of the Prosperity Brigade, and Hakam al-Issa, a former commander and one of the founders of the Al-Qassam Brigades.
Both men were reportedly killed in separate Israeli airstrikes on Gaza earlier this year, while al-Issa died during attacks on the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City.
