Riley Gaines announced the birth of her first child, a daughter named Margot on Thursday night.
Gaines announced the birth in an article on social media and showed that he was holding the baby with her husband Louis Barker.
“There is nothing to prepare me for such a love. God blesses us beyond faith. Welcome to the world, sweet Margot,” Gaines wrote in the title.

During his pregnancy, Gaines swam 1.25 miles to the famous Alcatraz prison with the US navy Seals, war veterans and husband. At that time he was 31 weeks pregnant.

Gaines announced her pregnancy at a Turning Point US event in Texas in June. The announcement came to addressing the comments of Olympic Gymnast Gymnast Simone Biles, who claimed that Gaines was a “man” during a social media saliva on the transit athletes in women’s sports.
