Harbour Tunnel crash brings northbound traffic to standstill
A two-vehicle collision in the Sydney Harbor Tunnel caused traffic chaos among northbound vehicles on Saturday afternoon.
The tunnel was closed to the north after the accident that occurred at around 11.40.
A NSW Police spokesman said officers attended the scene. Those in the cars affected by the accident did not suffer any serious injuries.
Footage from Live Traffic’s road cameras shows cars backing up via Woolloomooloo.
“Expect delays, allow extra travel time, be careful,” the transportation authority’s advice reads.
More to come.
