Harry Wilson transfer news: Everton approach for Fulham midfielder rejected

Fulham have rejected an offer from Everton for midfielder Harry Wilson.
It is understood that the Toffees made an offer for the 28-year-old player last week, but the Cottagers turned down the offer.
The Wales international’s contract expires this summer and he could leave on a free transfer but Fulham are determined not to sell him this month.
Head coach Marco Silva also said there was zero chance of Wilson being sold in the January transfer window.
Instead, the club has made it a priority to secure its future by signing his first loan deal from Liverpool in July 2021.
Since then, Wilson has made 173 appearances for Fulham, scoring 34 goals and registering 43 assists.
However, as BBC Sport revealed in January, contract extension talks are currently on hold due to transfer interest.
It is also understood that Wilson would prefer to gain clarity on the future of Silva, whose contract expires this summer, before making a final decision on a new contract.
