Harry’s rolls into Invictus countdown without Meghan

The Duke of Sussex became the king of wheelchair rugby by leading his team to a fast and furious exhibition match victory.
Harry was running around the pitch on Friday, blasting opponents with glee and scoring tries as he kicked off the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games in Birmingham during his visit to England.
At one point he threw a blind pass over his head into the arms of a teammate who had crossed the try line; The move was praised by TV presenter Ade Adepitan, who won a bronze medal with the Great Britain basketball team at the 2004 Paralympics.
The broadcaster, a member of Harry’s team who ran out 7-1 winners, said: “He passed the ball without looking. See? He passed the ball without looking over his head.”
“So, in the end he told me ‘it was just a trial and a hope’ but I said ‘shape it, shape it’, that was on purpose.”
The event was part of a series of demonstration sports highlighting the events that will be staged when Birmingham hosts the Invictus Games.
Missing was the Duchess of Sussex, who was scheduled to join him at the event but did not fly to England this week due to security concerns.
However, Meghan is expected to travel with her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in the coming days, leading to rumors of a meeting between the King and his grandchildren.
“It’s a great exhibition, a great opportunity for people who haven’t seen this sport before and have never seen these athletes compete,” Adepitan said of wheelchair rugby, which has been a favorite sport among fans at past Invictus Games.
“And you know, while you’re there, you have to do justice.”
