A cold-hearted woman has been arrested for allegedly dumping her puppy in a Nevada airport terminal after staff told her she couldn’t get on the plane, police said.

Germiran Bryson, 26, arrived at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport with his two-year-old golden doodle earlier this month, but was turned away because he did not have the necessary paperwork to bring the pup on board as a service animal.

He was caught at the exit gate a short time later, taken into custody and charged with animal abandonment and resisting arrest, authorities said.

The dog spent 10 days with Animal Protective Services, but was in danger of being abandoned a second time when Bryson did not return to take him home.

Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas immediately stepped in and took the stranded golden doodle into their care with plans to place him in a ‘new, loving home.’

Now the pup has a second chance at life and a new name to match his journey: JetBlue.

“I’m going to throw my bags on the ground because I’m tired,” he told the authorities.

An officer sternly told Bryson: ‘No, we’re going to take you to where your dog is and give you a citation because you left your dog at the ticket booth.’

He became defensive, saying he was just trying to ‘rebook his flight’, but police pressed him again on why he had left his dog behind.

The disgraced dog owner allegedly became ‘hostile’ and struggled with officers trying to detain him as he was being escorted back from a checkpoint.

“JetBlue has strongly raised awareness about rescues, abandonment laws, and the fact that dogs are not disposable,” the organization wrote.

‘Thanks to the interest it has generated, it can help many of our babies find homes, and for that we are very grateful,’ they added. ‘We also want to publicly thank the incredible people who stepped in immediately.’
