Heavy police presence at Abercorn Street Target; District 6 Alderman confirms shooting
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — There is a heavy police presence near the Target on Abercorn Street.
WSAV has a crew on scene who reported seeing crime scene tape and vehicles from the Savannah Police Department in the Target parking lot.
District 6 Councilman Kurtis Purtee said in a social media post that an adult man suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital. According to Purtee, the attack occurred after an argument over parking and a suspect was taken into custody.
News 3 reached out to Savannah Police for information about this incident but was unable to receive any details.
