NSW Environment Minister Penny Sharpe said that the long -awaited Big Koala National Park can be announced after meeting the tweed heads this week.
Before the last election, the Park, which was proposed at Kuzey NSW, a signature environmental policy promised by the NSW government, was able to see 176,000 hectares of state forest to the current National Park to protect the Habitat.

Environmentalists were disappointed with delays on the creation of the park, especially as the logic continued while evaluating the parking borders.
Sharpe said he was aware of his disappointment, but the government should list various claims and counter -demands made by people on different parts of the debate. When the state forest is added to the current National Park, the total area said, “It may be as big as 400,000 hectares”.
“This is not a small thing to do. In fact, there will be a community influence and we have worked on it. So we have various panels. What I will say in this area… There is no real facts in this field. So the government had to work with ourselves and we approached a decision partially.

The new Koala National Park in Southwest Sydney announced yesterday that it was far smaller yesterday and did not have the same community effect.
Sharpe also said that the government is working on the task of “very complex” changing land cleaning laws, and that the 40 percent increase in land cleaning in 2023 as reported on Monday was “unacceptable”.
