Hells Angel bikie charged with impersonating soldier

A Hells Angels cyclist has been charged for allegedly impersonating a returning military veteran.

The 41-year-old man was arrested by organized crime officers at Peelwood in the NSW Tablelands at around 3.40pm on Tuesday.

This followed investigations by Strike Force Benson detectives, who have been investigating alleged criminal activity involving the Hells Angels motorcycle club since August 2025.

During their investigation, they became aware of a man who allegedly identified himself as a former member of the Australian Defense Force.

But with the help of the ADF, detectives determined that the man had no record of Australian military service.

The cyclist was taken to Goulburn Police Station and charged with false extradition as a soldier, sailor or airman.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday.

Investigations into the Hells Angels continue under the command of Strike Force Benson.
