Holly Willoughby’s new online show ‘revealed’ after the beloved broadcaster turned her back on ITV

Details have reportedly emerged about Holly Willoughby’s new online show as she prepares to tackle the digital industry after turning her back on terrestrial ITV.

The Daily Mail’s Katie Hind previously wrote that the 45-year-old broadcaster will produce and present her new project with help from husband Dan Baldwin’s company behind Gladiators. And Michael McIntyreThe Big Show.

Now reports suggest the show will be called Together, and Holly has revealed in her application to the Intellectual Property Office that the series will also sell clothing, reminiscent of the magazine-style format of This Morning, which she has presented for 16 years.

Holly has previously posted fashion and cooking videos on her Instagram account and appears to be preparing for her upcoming series.

One expert said: ‘The eclectic mix of topics is very much in line with this overarching theme of ‘togetherness’ that he is clearly trying to espouse.’

‘And of course the title will heighten the feeling that viewers are reunited with Holly after a long time.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Holly’s representatives for comment.

A friend of the star told the Daily Mail: ‘Holly has been doing television for 25 years and now wants to do her own thing.

‘And now that daytime television is largely in decline, it’s time for something new. Exciting, this is something very new and innovative, I hope it works.

‘The television landscape has changed so much that people are consuming content on TikTok and other digital platforms.

‘Holly now saw the opportunity to start something new that had a future, unlike the things she had done in the past.’

Such is Holly’s determination to start over that she has even been featured in ITV’s You Bet! He turned down the chance to host the show. In 2024, he hosted two specials with Stephen Mulhern for the third time. The series has since been cancelled.

I bet! It was one of three projects Holly had been working on since leaving This Morning in October 2023 following her torture at the hands of former security guard Gavin Plumb, who was found guilty of plotting to kidnap, rape and murder her last summer.

‘He was offered the chance to host You Bet but he turned it down and there were other opportunities: He could take them and pick up where he left off when he had that terrible time with Gavin Plumb.

‘But Holly has an idea and she knows if she doesn’t do it now she’ll never know if it will work. Of course it’s a risk, but he wanted a change.

‘Not only will he be in front of the camera, he will also be behind the camera and that’s very exciting.’
