Homicide investigation launched after woman found dead in Brisbane home

After a woman was found dead in a house in the north of Brisbane, a murder investigation was launched.

The police were invited to a house at Osprey Place in Taigum at around 12.30 on Saturday after reporting that a woman was unresponsive.

A 47 -year -old Taigum woman was found with critical injuries at home.

He was declared died at the scene.

The police then joined a house at a house at Hackman ST in McDowall and found a 52 -year -old man who is currently helping the police in question.

Two criminal scenes were established in each of the houses.

Officers appeal to everyone with information or CCTV images.

Investigations continue.
