Honouring Neville Bonner: New statue unveiled | The Canberra Times

The sculpture is based on Bonner’s boomerang-throwing demonstration, which was performed recently in the Senate Rose Gardens of the Old Parliament House in 1971. Bonner stands with Cain, the carpet snake he covered with a boomerang design by Barkindji artist David Doyle.
