Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation has three Zones and 14 Circles

Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation is one of the newly formed Corporations in Telangana covering Malkaigiri, Uppal and LB Nagar Districts. Its head office is in the premises of HMDA building in Tarnaka.
On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, orders were issued dividing the newly restructured Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation into Malkajgiri, Cyberabad Municipal Corporations and reorganized GHMC. The government transferred IAS officers and appointed them to new posts, including new Companies Commissioners.
The head office of Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation is in the premises of HMDA building in Tarnaka.
As part of the reorganization, T. Vinay Krishna Reddy, an IAS officer of the 2013 batch, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation. The officer took charge of the mission Wednesday morning. He had previously served as Additional Commissioner of GHMC.
