A seven-year-old girl was reportedly raped after being abducted from her home. It has been confirmed that two teenage boys have been arrested in connection with the alleged attack which took place last Thursday (4 June).
The suspects allegedly abducted the girl from her home before locking her in a public toilet. They then reportedly took turns raping her before fleeing the area. The girl reported the alleged assault to her family before the suspects were arrested on Sunday, June 7.

Sunamganj Superintendent of Police ABM Zakir Hossain confirmed the arrests on Sunday. He added that the investigation is continuing.
The girl, who was allegedly raped in the toilet, returned home and reported the attack to her family. He was also hospitalized for internal bleeding.
Local doctor Bashir Ahmad said he “provided medication” to stop the bleeding. However, his condition worsened on Sunday and he was taken to Tahirpur Upazila Health Complex for further treatment.
Superintendent of Police Sushankar Pal confirmed that the victim was provided with “comprehensive” medical care before being discharged from hospital. He is currently recovering at home.
The suspects were produced in the Sunamganj Juvenile Court on Sunday. The judge then ordered that they be sent to the Child Development Center in Gazipur.
