Woman offering her daughter to a woman pedophile The girl was imprisoned along with her harasser. Christopher Brownhill, 38, of Linley View Drive, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, met the woman on a dating website in 2017 and their conversations turned into a mutual sexual attraction towards young children.
The woman is also from Shropshire but cannot be named for legal reasons to protect the child’s identity. He shared photos of his daughter police It was said that it was not of a sexual nature with Brownhill. Her daughter was one year old at the time.
After chatting online, the two decided to meet in person. The sick mother promised Brownhill that she would bring her daughter to the meeting.
The two never met, and the vile Brownhill never got his dirty hands on her. He continued to text the woman, telling her what he wanted to do to his daughter if they met.
The police launched an investigation after the intelligence was shared with the police. Brownhill and the woman were arrested two years after they first started talking.
According to West Mercia Police, they were accused of arranging or facilitating the commission of child sexual offences. They were found guilty of the crime earlier this year after a two-week trial.
Brownhill was jailed for 11 years and the woman was given a six-year sentence at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday, June 12.
They were both given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and ordered to sign on the Sex Offenders Register for life. West Mercia Police said the child no longer had any contact with his mother.
Shrewsbury Crown Court heard how detectives discovered Brownhill had messaged another woman online about their shared sexual attraction to young children.
The two discussed arranging a meeting so Brownhill could sexually assault the woman’s one-year-old twin nieces.
In a statement, West Mercia Police said: “This case concerns extremely serious offenses involving the abuse of a child and both defendants demonstrated a clear intent to facilitate harm.”
Police said the planning and communication between Brownhill and the boy’s mother was extremely disturbing, even though no in-person meeting took place.
He added: “Protecting children is our absolute priority and we will relentlessly pursue those who seek to abuse or exploit them, whether online or in person.
“I hope the sentences imposed on both defendants reflect the seriousness of these crimes and provide reassurance that such behavior will not be tolerated.”
West Mercia Police praised the officers involved and reminded members of the public to report concerns about child abuse.
