Hospitals registration under ‘Karnataka Arogya Sanjeevini’ entrusted to Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust

The Karnataka government has authorized Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Foundation (SAST) to register hospitals under ‘Karnataka Arogya Sanjeevini Yojane’, a scheme aimed at providing cashless medical treatment to State government employees and their dependent family members.

According to the government order, 186 government hospitals and 70 private hospitals are currently registered under the scheme. Private hospitals wishing to participate in the program must meet the necessary infrastructure and prescribed quality standards. The decision also stated that SAST has the authority to verify infrastructure facilities and other eligibility criteria before registering hospitals.
