How a former Blue Peter presenter stunned America’s Got Talent judges

But that’s exactly what Mawhinney did; Mel B stunned Sofía Vergara and Howie Mandel by revealing that each piece had somehow survived.
Mandel’s phone appeared in a locked box in front of the judges throughout the auditions.
The phone then began receiving messages from Mawhinney explaining the location where other judges’ valuables had gone missing.
Vergara’s framed photo of her dog was hidden inside the sofa cushion, while Mel B’s bracelet was hidden inside one of her famous Got Talent red bells.
When making her decision, Mel B said, “I don’t know how she did it. I believe in magic, but I loved it,” which meant yes.
Vergara laughed and said the “magic was so impressive.” He also voted yes, adding: “I don’t know if it was necessary, but it was very exciting.”
Mendel described Mawhinney as “charming, you look good,” but the comedian said no, calling the performance “too slow.”
Simon Cowell agreed with the length of the performance, saying “you can’t do that in a live show”.
“Our audience loves magic, which is exactly why I said yes.”
With three yeses, Mawhinney advanced to the next stage and had a chance to win the cash prize.
