Police release CCTV image after two stabbings at Oxford Circus tube station | London

Police released the CCTV image of a man they wanted to question after two people were stabbed at the Oxford Circus Tube station in London within 24 hours during the weekend.

Early at the weekend, two incidents were called for emergency services. The first incident took place on Saturday at 3.40, and the second was immediately after 1.30 on Sunday.

The British transport police (BTP) said that a 43 -year -old man was injured on Saturday and that a 43 -year -old man was treated in the hospital for knife wounds. The police have not yet been arrested.

DCI Gareth Davies said: “There is absolutely no place for violence in the railway network, and the detectives are working quickly to investigate these two connected events.

“Officers will see the existence of the increasing police at the station while the civil servants are doing their investigations. At that time, they may have seen everyone or these events in the region, or they may have seen the events, to communicate with our investigations and to help us. It may be vital for our investigation.”

Witnesses were asked to send messages to BTP or call 0800 405040 in 61016. They can also communicate with Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
