Race-by-race tips and previews for Tuesday’s Scone meeting

2. Give Me a Queen He raced lightly with four starts to his name and won two, including a strong victory at Muswellbrook when last produced. He still looks to be on the rise and looks set to get another win in this regard. 3.Zizette He has been competing in state races recently and has the capacity to improve here despite not being able to place in the last three races. 1. Final Effect Last start Dubbo did the job well in taking the win and could present a bold display again. 4. Toulon Factor He is racing well with a win at Armidale and a second race at the same track last time out and could qualify again.

6. Armistice He makes his debut here and two tries were scored either side of the break. He won his last at this track at the end of October when in the saddle of Reece Jones and he remained loyal to the mare here. 3. Zone Style He performed well on his debut at Dubbo and then finished second at Armidale, finishing ninth in a strong first race at Rosehill. This is easier. 2. Storm Capital making his first run for a new stable after one last second in a trial. 4. Surprise it also logs out after two attempts and may appear.

Race 3

5.Laizabout has a consistent record and has appeared in all three runs since resuming. Another bold showing is on the cards. 11. Mount Bona It has performed well in both studies since its resumption and may reoccur. 13. Joika He debuted fourth at Muswellbrook and needs to be better this time around. 12. Superata He appeared in two of the four starts and has claims here.

Race 4

3. Balmain Warrior He’s making his first start here and had two more tries earlier in the year after taking a break. It’s in good shape and a gutsy performance is on the cards. 7. Spicy Surprise He was placed at both starts and should be in the middle of things again. 9. Crathie Kirk He has performed well in two races to date; the fourth came at Hawkesbury and the third at Muswellbrook. 13. The Legacy of Satin The last starter with claims was Muswellbrook runner-up.
