US President Donald Trump has launched a lashing out against some of his closest allies over fierce opposition to his war with Iran. He faced strong opposition from the likes of Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly, and Alex Jones over the launch of the epic Operation Rage.

In his angry post on Truth Social, Mr. Trump refers to his former allies as “low IQ…stupid people” and “TOO MUCH JOBS, TROUBLE MAKERS.”

In a nearly 500-word rant published on Thursday, April 9, he said: “I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have been fighting me for years, specifically over the fact that they think it’s cool that Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terrorism, has a Nuclear Weapon – Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs.”

Mr Trump continued: “They are stupid people, they know it, their families know it and everyone else knows it!”

He added: “They are NUT BUSINESSES, TROUBLE MAKERS, and will say whatever is necessary to get “free” and cheap publicity. Now they think they are getting some “clicks” because they have a Third Grade Podcast, but no one is talking about them and their views are the exact opposite of MAGA — Otherwise I wouldn’t have won the Presidential Election by a landslide.”

The US leader continued to personally attack his former supporters.

Mr. Trump focused on comments by his longtime ally and conservative commentator Candace Owens about France’s first lady.

Ms Owens accused Brigitte Macron of being born male. French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife responded by filing a defamation lawsuit against Ms Owens in July 2025 after she promoted the theory online.

The US president called Ms Owens “crazy” and added that he hoped Ms Macron would “make a lot of money from the ongoing case”.

“Actually, in my opinion, the First Lady of France is a much more beautiful woman than Candace, and not even close!” he said.

Mr. Trump also turned to former ally and commentator Tucker Carlson, attacking his education level and career path.

“Tucker Carlson, who couldn’t even finish college, was a broken man when he was fired from Fox and was never the same – Maybe he should see a good psychiatrist!” Mr. Trump said of the successful conservative political activist and podcast host.

Mr. Trump concluded his post by talking about his country’s perceived status.

He said: “MAGA aims to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, AND THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DO IT, BUT I DID IT, BECAUSE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS NOW THE “HOTEST” COUNTRY ON THE WORLD! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
