The Humber Bridge has been closed after a massive bus fire caused major traffic delays on the A15 in Yorkshire. Emergency services are at the scene of a bus fire on the A15 between Burton and Hessle.

There are traffic queues and there is no access to the bridge. A Stagecoach spokesman said passengers were evacuated by the driver after smoke was detected on the bus. The spokesperson also said they were “not aware of any reported injuries.”

According to the latest information from the scene, the traffic lane from North East Lincs to East Riding is now open.
