Hundreds flee as fire rips through German nightclub

Berlin: Hundreds of people were evacuated after a fire broke out at a nightclub in southwestern Germany, police said on Sunday, while images from the scene showed a fire on the roof of the building.

Police said the fire started around 03:45 in the morning at the nightclub in Kehl, on the French border.

The police statement stated that the fire “spread to the entire building.”

There were about 750 people inside at the time, and they were all unaided; Three people were treated by the emergency room.

In the images published in the German media, it was seen that a huge fire broke out on the roof of the nightclub located in the industrial area of ​​the city.
