“Donald Trump went and changed everything,” Hunter said Monday in an interview with journalist Tommy Christopher published on the Substack platform.

“I’ve said this before,” Hunter continued.

“My father wouldn’t have pardoned me if President Trump hadn’t won, and the reason he didn’t pardon me is because, under the normal circumstances of appeals, I wasn’t sure of that. [I would have won]”

Biden’s son added that Trump was planning a “revenge tour” against his father; this will make him “the easiest target to just intimidate, and not only will it affect me, but it will affect my whole family, at least he won’t be like that – it’s not that easy for him” [with] I am forgiven.”

“But I’m incredibly grateful for it, and I have to say, I don’t think it requires me to make a very detailed argument about why it was the right thing to do, at least from my father’s perspective.”

A source familiar with the Biden official’s testimony before the House Oversight Committee told The Post that former White House chief of staff Jeff Zients said last month that Hunter was “involved” in pardon talks and even “attended a few meetings.”
