4-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling into Pit

Kakinada: A four -year -old child died tragically after a hill tank in the village of Diwancheruvu in the East Godavari region, Kadamanchi Srinu, in a hill tank next to a hill tank.

According to sources, the pit measuring the 5×6 feet was excavated by Panchayat personnel to repair a damaged valve on the tank pipelines. While playing nearby, Srinu accidentally shifted to the pit full of rainwater. His father Durga Prasad is a daily paid worker.

Prarashathi later visited the old family and comforted them. He announced that the pit was not filled due to ongoing repair works. He also promised preventive measures to avoid such tragedy in the future.
