Hyderabad police arrest meat trader for selling long-stored offal as fresh

A 41-year-old meat trader was arrested by the Mangalhat police for selling long-stored, unhygienic goat and sheep offal to customers by falsely claiming it was fresh.

The accused, Mohammed Afroz, a resident of Amar Nagar Colony in Mangalhat, was nabbed during a raid on March 10 by a joint team of Mangalhat police, Golconda District Task Force and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials.
