Hema Malini, Dharmendra in Ikkis
It’s been 13 days since Dharmendra’s last film, the war drama Ikkis, released in theatres, and his second wife Hema Malini is yet to watch the film. In a recent interview, Hema made a candid confession about the Agastya Nanda starrer, based on the life of 1971 India-Pakistan war hero Arun Khetarpal. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film featured Dharmendra playing the role of Arun’s father, Brigadier ML Khetarpal. The film opened to positive reviews but underperformed at the box office. One of the major reasons for the praise was Dharmendra’s final on-screen appearance and performance. However, Hema Malini, who has repeatedly expressed her admiration for him, explained that she has not seen Ikkis yet and that there is a personal reason for this.
