‘I have a thing called Iran’
President Trump said Thursday he wasn’t sure he would go to his son Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding, noting the Iran war and “other things” on his plate.
“He wants me to leave, but it’s just going to be a small, little private matter, and that’s what I’m going to try to do,” the president said in response to a reporter’s question at the White House. “I’m in the middle; I said, ‘You know, this is not good timing for me, I’ve got this thing called Iran and other things.'”
“This is something I can’t win,” he added. “If I join, I’ll be killed, if I don’t, I’ll be killed, of course I’ll be killed because of the fake news I mentioned. But he’s a person I’ve known for a very long time, and I hope they have a great marriage.”
Page Six reported monday According to a source, the younger Trump and Palm Beach, Fla. His fiancee, socialite Bettina Anderson, is getting ready to get married this weekend. Only a few family members and friends will reportedly attend the ceremony, which will be held on a private island in the Bahamas.
Donald Trump Jr. in December. announced her engagement and called it a “big win” for the end of the year.
