– What happened? The son of a BJP MP in Madhya Pradesh rammed his SUV into a motorcycle carrying three people and two female pedestrians and later tried to explain his action by saying, “I was honking my horn, why didn’t I move away?” He was heard making a strange statement in a viral video.
According to the police, eyewitnesses said that the number plates hanging at the rear and front of the vehicle read ‘MLA’ and ‘Pritam Lodhi’. Pritam Lodhi is the MLA from Pichhore in Madhya Pradesh. The legislator then said that the law will take its own course and that everyone, no matter who they are, is equal before the law.
The incident took place in Shivpuri district headquarters in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. According to the police, the SUV first hit a motorcycle with three people on their way to Dhanora in Shivpuri district, and then hit two female pedestrians, injuring five others. Those with head and shoulder injuries were taken to a local hospital.
