Anyone with a streaming subscription has probably spent a fair amount of time scrolling through options to turn off the television without ever stopping to search and selecting anything.
Film buff Eccy has highlighted a “must-watch” series to help viewers discover their next obsession, saying its seven award nominations don’t do the series justice.
TikTok user Eccy Reviews, who frequently shares movie and TV series recommendations, stated: “There is a crime series on Netflix that everyone should watch.”
Created by Sarah Phelps, the 2019 TV series Dublin Murders follows detectives Rob Reilly and Cassie Maddox as they are drawn deeper into the mystery surrounding the murder of a young girl on the outskirts of Dublin.
The program stars Sarah Greene, Michael D’Arcy and Killian Scott and was praised by viewers for its compelling storyline; many people admitted that they couldn’t stop at just one episode.
Eccy said: “Very engaging. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved every episode. Believe me, it’s definitely worth watching.”
Responding to his video, one user commented: “I’ve only watched the first episode but I’m really enjoying it so far.”
