I worked on Stranger Things and the Netflix set was pure chaos – I saw Millie Bobby Brown’s true colours within a matter of hours

A person who worked on the set of Netflix’s hit movie Stranger Things revealed what Millie Bobby Brown is like behind the camera.

The popular series recently wrapped up its five-season run spanning a decade.

Viewers saw 21-year-old Millie play key character Eleven (aka Jane Hopper/Ives) throughout the series.

On a blog called Substack St. Luke’s Sketchbook, Dominic Morlino wrote about his experience working as a production assistant (PA) on set.

Already having aspirations of becoming a filmmaker, he and a friend landed PA positions through the friend’s father, who worked on the crew.

His friend Jacob first started working on the set in June 2021; Dominic then received the call to join him in mid-July.

Describing his first moments on set, including meeting Millie, Dominic wrote: ‘Jacob calls out: “Hey Millie wanna meet Bobby Brown?”

‘He was very kind and hugged me when he met me.

‘Apparently he likes to get to know everyone on set, especially the PAs. I don’t even think he was filming that day, he just wanted to hang out.

‘Also, it’s a good thing for him that he’s not afraid of Covid; This was 2021 and everyone in CA and Atlanta still was.’

He wanted to talk to the script manager; He thought this could be a good path for his career.

Although Dominic didn’t get the opportunity, he recalled overhearing a conversation the script supervisor had with actors Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo, who played Mike and Dustin, respectively.

Dominic wrote: ‘In the small talk I overheard, they were talking about how season 4 was different from season 1; there were no craft services (snacks available 24/7 on set) or a video village (a tent with monitors for directors/producers/actors for instant playback of footage).

‘To me, it seemed like Matarazzo was playfully complaining about how big the show had become, but maybe that was just me.’

As the new man, Dominic had the inevitable duty to stay there until all the trucks were packed and on their way.

Having arrived at 7 a.m. the previous day, he left the set at 2 a.m., working a 17-hour shift in total.

While Dominic spent more days on set waiting to be called back, this ultimately never happened.

He said: ‘I spent a day on set and that was it. To tell you the truth, I knew it would go this way. I really wasn’t needed that day. There were about 10 other KAs and I gave extra help.’

Despite this, someone he met on the set of Stranger Things got him to work on a Rob Lowe Netflix movie called Dog Gone.

Elsewhere, Stranger Things fans are convinced a secret ‘missing’ final episode will be released on Netflix on January 7 after spotting a number of clues throughout the fifth season.

Viewers tuned in on New Year’s Day to watch the final episode of the sci-fi hit show, which brought to a close the twisty story of Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven and her friends in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.

The action-packed two-hour episode saw a group of teenagers – Will, Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Max, along with their siblings and friends Steve, Nancy, Jonathan and Robin – face off against the villain Vecna in a final battle.

They suggested that the finale was an illusion created by the still-alive villain Vecna.

Fans took to social media to gather evidence in the case, pointing out a number of inconsistencies in the story that suggested the seemingly perfect ending had been manufactured.

The most talked about example comes from the graduation scene at Hawkins High where Will, Max, Dustin, Lucas, and Mike say goodbye to their high school.

On stage, graduates sit in front of each other with their hands crossed in their laps; This is the signature pose of Henry Creel and his possessors throughout the show.

The graduates wear orange dresses instead of the green dresses fans expected after finding a clue in Nancy’s (Natalia Dyer) book.

Members of the Wheeler family, including Nancy, Mike, and mother Karen (Cara Buono), also debut hairstyles that are eerily similar to Henry’s.

However, ultimately no episodes were aired at that time; This proved that the theory was wrong all along.

All seasons of Stranger Things can be watched on Netflix.
