IAS officers reshuffle in Tamil Nadu: Five new Collectors, three Corporation Commissioners appointed

The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday, May 30, 2026, issued orders regarding the transfer of IAS officers, including District Collectors and Corporation Commissioners.
Accordingly, R. Kirlosh Kumar was appointed as the Chief Secretary for Housing and Urban Development.
New Collectors
Sharanya Ari has been appointed as Perambalur District Collector, while N. Mirunalini, who was District Collector in Perambalur, has been appointed as Ariyalur District Collector.
S. Malathi Helen has been appointed as District Collector, Chennai. M. Sivaguru Prabakaran, who was serving as Corporation Commissioner in Coimbatore, has now been appointed as Ramanathapuram District Collector.
S. Kavitha has been appointed as Tiruvallur District Collector.
Company Commissioners
Veer Pratap Singh, Deputy Secretary to Government (Protocol), Ministry of Public Affairs, has now been appointed as Corporation Commissioner of Tiruchi.
Gaurav Kumar will take over as Corporation Commissioner of Madurai.
Katta Ravi Teja, Regional Deputy Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation, has been appointed as Corporation Commissioner of Coimbatore.
Chitra Vijayan, currently Corporation Commissioner of Madurai, has been appointed as Regional Deputy Commissioner (North) of Greater Chennai Corporation.
